John Loane, Training and Technical Sales Engineer, SPM Instrument UK Ltd Dean Whiteside, Condition Monitoring Engineer, Etex Building Performance Limited

Description

This presentation describes the implementation of an effective Condition Monitoring Program and the benefits it has shown in a short space of time at a plasterboard manufacturer-Siniat, Bristol UK. A condition monitoring program was in place but only words were used and it was not implemented correctly with correct management. After training and a change in strategy this has started to blossom into a succesful Condition Monitoring Program with a number of large successes by using Vibration Analysis and HD Technologies. This presentation shows these successes and how they were implemented.

Takeaways
1. How to correctly implement a successful condition monitoring program
2. Successes of condition monitoring and potential cost savings
3. The effect of precision and correct maintenance practise on VA readings
