A look into how why online vibration monitoring from Rockwell Automation was selected to protect conveying assets at German Creek operation for Anglo American Capcoal in QLD which primarily produces quality hard coking coal for export steel markets.  These important assets on site were providing unforeseen failures and attributing to significant downtime on the site.  The case study will look at our journey to implement a online vibration monitoring protection system which has substantially improved our maintenance requirements on these important assets.
